The old school house

SECTA Green Acorn Award Scheme Best of Bodmin moor

The Old School House is a comfortable, Victorian schoolhouse, built in 1838, set in pretty, mature gardens. There is plenty of off-road parking. The unspoilt village of Cardinham is close to the edge of Bodmin Moor and Cardinham Amenity Forest; about 2 miles from the A30 north of Bodmin.

The accommodation is a centrally heated, double en-suite room with a bath, colour TV and refreshment tray. A full English breakfast is served including home-made bread, free-range eggs and locally cured bacon.

We now offer free wi-fi access.

Cardinham is an ideal base for touring, riding, cycling, walking and bird watching.
